Welcome! I have been teaching at Fuller since the fall 2009. Fuller students will find that we have a course page on Moodle.

This course constitutes an introduction to the nature, structure, and message of the New Testament Gospels in their historical, literary, and canonical contexts. Having successfully completed this course, students will have demonstrated: 1) familiarity with the distinct content and literary structure of each Gospel and its portrayal of Jesus; 2) a basic understanding of the Greco-Roman and Jewish cultural and historical settings that provide insights for interpreting each of these narratives; 3) a basic understanding of source, form, redaction, and narrative criticisms; and 4) developing interpretive skills in the exegesis of the Gospels.

Note: All downloads are pdf format unless otherwise indicated.
